Security updates for WordPress and Drupal.
WordPress and Drupal are a lot like your mobile phone, the operating system and need updating regularly, and if it all goes wrong you have to either speak to an IT person or wait for the next update to fix it.
Websites are very similar which is why we recommend having an expert run these updates for you. We run these regularly to make sure your website continues to run smoothly and securely to take the worry out of having a website, so you can get on with running your business.
Fix any issues
Websites will inevitably go wrong at some point, whether it's a very minor problem or something more serious our website hosting and care service means that we will fix any issues caused by an update or software issue*.
Free SSL certificate
An SSL certificate encrypts the data between the visitor and the website, this prevents any information being intercepted. Google prefers websites with SSL certificates and is now ranking websites with SSL certificates above those without. You can see if a website has an SSL certificate if the website address starts with https as opposed to http, see below:
Browsers may show security warnings if there is no SSL certificate, so it’s important to have one of these with your website.
One-to-one website support.
If you get stuck on how to do something on your website or want to have a chat about adding an extra feature, we’re here for you, so you can make the very most of your website.
We’re here to help!
Backups run daily on our server and if you need access we're happy to give you a secure login. In the unlikely event you need to restore from backup, we can do that for you for a small fee.
Up to 5 x branded email addresses
Having a BT Internet, Gmail or Yahoo email address is fine. However it looks more professional if your business emails come from your own branded email address for example [yourname]@[yourdomain].com. We can set up as many as five of these if you need. We provide the details you need to set up your email on your devices. We're not an IT service so if you experience any issues we recommend a local IT person who can help.
You can have up to five email addresses with our website hosting which you can use via Outlook, Gmail, Mac Mail or any other email application you prefer to use.
